RASTAFEST & REGGAE MUSIC FESTIVAL

Reggae music is back at its permanent home, Black Creek Pioneer Village, for the 18th staging of the Rastafest & Reggae Music Festival. Saturday, August 18, 2018 and Sunday, August 19, 2018, we will see Black Creek Pioneer Village’s North property (7060 Jane Street, North of Steeles Avenue West) rock and sway to the sounds of Reggae’s finest artists while enjoying children/youth entertainment, ancestral drumming, a unique one of a kind Kijiji market place with arts and crafts, as well as food vendors and farmers market.

COMPONENTS OF THE FESTIVAL ARE


Emperor and Empress Stage Show

International and national reggae artists from Canada and the Caribbean performing at a live concert.


Kijiji Market Place

Arts and crafts, merchandize, food and arrays of other products on sale.



Ancestral Drumming

Nyah Binghi drumming from the Rastafari culture.


Youth/Children Area

Cultural and educational activities and games for youth and children.


Band Showcase

Bands from various genres will perform on August 19, 2017 and August 20, 2017
